Dilly Dally Deli

Another college branding project, and another instance of creating more work for myself by choosing something funny.

What do we do when we are out of ideas? We talk to friends! And what do we do when we ask our friend for name ideas for a deli, and they say
“I made up the Dilly Dally Deli when I was 8..”…. We make Dilly Dally Deli happen!

The inspiration for the Dilly Dally Deli was a little European Bakery I worked at for my first job in Pensacola, Florida. It was the most charming little spot, that offered the most delicious baked goods, and served breakfast and lunch. Patrons would come in, grab a cream puff, and sit and read the paper or have coffee with friends. It was slow, simple, and lazy- in the best way.

Once I was locked into the name, I struggled. How the heck do I make Dilly Dally Deli a real thing? By leaning into the dill of it all, of course.
